Job Responsibilities

Avenboken Treatment Home is a residential care home for adults with harmful use and addiction. The target group consists of women and men with harmful use or addiction to drugs, alcohol, and medications. At Avenboken, the target group is from 20 years and older.

We are now looking for hourly substitutes who want a fun job with many opportunities and wish to develop in a stimulating environment.

Working hours are during the day, evening, and weekends or night shifts, where the tasks focus on practical chores but primarily on being a support for the individuals undergoing treatment here. To be considered for the position, you must be able to work evenings and weekends.

We work with individually tailored care times and treatment planning where the individual's needs guide, which places high demands on you as an employee to be flexible and adaptable to the situation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has an ongoing (completed at least three semesters) or completed university education in social work and previous experience in social work.

Experience in institutional work, work within psychiatry, and work with individuals with harmful use and addiction is advantageous. A driver's license (B) and knowledge of other languages besides Swedish and English are also meritorious.

As a person, you are proactive, creative, and have a positive view of people. You are self-sufficient and can independently plan your working hours. You reflect on your work and have a high degree of flexibility, especially when it comes to demonstrating symptom tolerance for deviant behavior. The job also requires good collaboration skills both within the workplace and with external actors, and you are skilled at building relationships.

About the Workplace

At the treatment home, employees work together in close collaboration with each other and with the individual users to create the best possible conditions for the individual to make a change in their life situation and to be able to live a sober and drug-free life.

At Avenboken, there are 11 employees.
